Sage 50 will allow you to work(enter transactions) in your current fiscal year and the previous fiscal year. You can look up transactions for any fiscal year on file providing you have not cleared your data for the year you are looking for. I am not sure what you trying to ask us? If you go to your menus on the top of your Sage 50 screen go to Setup, Settings, Company. What does it say your current year is and what is your oldest year? I am not sure whether this is going to answer your issue, you must give us more information about what screen you are talking about and what you want to accomplish.

Here is a picture of the window I was in. Except the dates were Nov 12, 2017 to May 07, 2018.

The dates it showed don't align with any year end or ANYTHING.

And I'm working in the current date.

I opened the window again the next day to get a snip for your answer and now it works just fine.

Although The first time more than one account was available in drop-down and now only one account there.

Do you know, does an account have to be set up for reconciliation in order to use the match transaction window?Thanks again for you help, it must have been a "sparky" in the system.
