how to get current earnings to populate on the balance sheet.

I am running Sage Simply Accounting Pro 2011 and whenever I run a balance sheet the current earnings are showing as zero.

When I run an income statement the value shows up correctly but it does not populate on the balance sheet for some reason.

Any ideas on how to get the current earnings to populate on the balance sheet would be greatly appreciated.
