I just opened a Pro file in my version and it is on the toolbar and Paycheque menu.  Are you saying Import Timesheets is not on your menu/toolbar?

No, there is no icon or anything. 

Funny thing is when it came out way back and I worked elsewhere, it didn't show up on my computer there either but on my bosses sage, the icon was there.  I couldn't figure that out.

So I don't need Premium to do timesheets?  I was on the phone for 2 hours today with Sage and no one could help me.

Which do you want to do?  Based on the fact you have now changed ideas of what you want, I am not sure I can help either.

Do you want to import timesheets in the Paycheques module or enter Timesheets in the Time and Billing module?

Security will limit your access to the Timesheets module and that may affect the ability to import Timesheets in the payroll module.  If you need the module, you will have to get sysadmin to give you access.

User Preferences can hide the Time and Billing module from you.  Check to see if it is turned off under Setup, User Preferences, View, Features.

No the option is not there under user preferences for timesheets.  When I'm going a paycheque, the import timesheets is under the paycheque tab.

If we are able to use timesheets out of Pro and don't have to purchase Premium, that's what we would do. We would like the foremen in the field to be able to put in the hours for the employee, send to me then I would import.  We don't want the foremen to have access to Sage though. And I just don't know how exactly to do timesheets.  I can't find any instructions for it either. 

I have only looked at the time and billing module a bit.  We wouldn't need it for billing.

I'm not sure I understand this but what happens when you click on the Import Timesheets option under the Paycheque tab?

Time and Billing looks like it is only a Premium feature.  It is not available in my Pro file either.  I guess my memory isn't as good as it once was.

From what I have read, time and billing is only in premium.  I've also read timesheets is available in premium only.

But, "import timesheets" is on the toolbar in Pro but I don't know how to use it.  I played around with it and you need to set up a spreadsheet, which they provide, once you start the import process.  Then you fill it out and import it.  My problem is I don't know what field of the spreadsheet apply to what fields of the paycheque.  I tried filling this spreadsheet out and did basic hours and I did get it to import but need to be able to put in overtime, bonuses, etc.  This is where I'm having trouble and I am not able to find any instructions for this.  So I have partially figured it out and I am thinking this may work for what we need and then we wouldn't have to purchase premium.  I just wanted to find instructions of using this feature in Pro. 

I hope this is a better explanation of what I need.

This is the same thing you find if you select the Help menu and type Import Timesheets into the search box.

Thank you for your help.  I actually did import some hours and now I'm not sure how to delete what I set up.  yikes.  but I will try what you've said above and see how it turns out.  I did find some instructions for Sage UK so I'm not sure how much I can use but will check it out.

NOOOOOO!

Sage UK is not a software program I am aware of.  Sage 50 Accounts is the UK version that I believe started the company and has nothing to do what used to be called Simply Accounting, and is now our Sage 50 Canada.

If you don't see the Sage 50 (vs. Sage 100, 200, 300, 500, X3, etc.) and Canada, I would not expect the instructions to help.
