opening 2019 file

i want to open a 2019 file, and the system won't open the older file. I am running the 2021 version of sage 50. how do i do this? I get a "database reports an error' message

Thanks for reaching out. Did you ever find an answer to your question? If the file is local can you open the sample company or another company file successfully?
