silver support plan

do i have to buy the silver plan support plan if i dont need it ? i am being told i will be locked out if i dont , am i being bullied ? for example if i installed the program on a computer with no internet would there be a way to lock me out ?    i dont use it for payroll and i dont need any updates , in  the past i just used older versions til i was forced to upgrade

    Thank you for your questions. As of Sage 50 CA version 2022, all licenses available at retail or directly through our sales team are subscription licenses for one year. Beyond that, if not renewed, the software will go into read-only mode and has a clock feature embedded. If you have further questions about this, the sales team can be contacted at 1-888-261-9610.

    Was the 2021 version a box purchased at retail? If so then happy to check in with the team. Your email (tied to your Sage City profile) came up for account ending 400xxxxx35 with a 2017 version. If you have another account, feel free to email me the details.
