Emailing statement error

Whenever I try to email a statement in 2022.3 I get an error message "An error occurred sending the email. Mapi result code: 2" and no email is sent.

Emailing statements works fine when using 2022.0

Any ideas what is happening?

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out. Did you ever find an answer for this issue? Do you have multiple versions of Outlook installed? Here's an article with solution steps to try.

If you are still looking for guidance, please let us know and we can try to point you in the right direction or suggest some resources or next steps.

Most likely our support team would walk you through steps 3 and 4:

Method 4: Verify Add-in for Outlook is installed

    1. Close Sage 50 and Outlook
    2. Start the re-installation process of your Sage 50 Accounting product. Follow Article: Is there a repair feature or utility?
    3. Select OK when the message "You currently have Sage 50 installed..." pops up
    4. Choose Add/Remove Program Components, then Next
    5. Uncheck Add-in for Microsoft Outlook, then Next
    6. Repeat the same procedure again and re-add the checkmark for Add-in for Microsoft Outlook to have the add on reinstalled
    7. Email the transaction from Sage 50

Method 5 Run Sage 50 as administrator

    1. To use Outlook from an application, both apps must be started in the same user context

    Warm Regards,
