Email Invoice Issue with text overlaying/format issue with Epson Dot Matrix Printer Driver

Good day,

I was wondering if anyone has seen and/or has any insight into why an email invoice would overlay the text and skew the format when using an Epson dot matrix printer.
I can change to any other printer in the invoice settings under Reports and Forms and the invoice is correct. If I have this specific Epson selected it messes up the format.

This is on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with Sage50 CA Premium (2021, 2022 and 2023 versions). I have tried all versions of the driver for this specific Epson FX-890II printer

The easy fix is to change the printer used as a default but we use the 3 colour dot matrix paper and it doesn't make sense just this printer causes that issue. The previous dot matrix printer was not an issue *(also not an Epson either though :) )

Any suggestions are appreciated. thank you

I have only one suggestion which have probably already done. Locate and install the most recent printer driver for Epson FX-890II printer for Windows 10 and/or Windows 11. This is most likely not a combination that has been tested for by Sage as I suspect a dot matrix printer is most uncommon these days.

I hope you can find a working solution.

Thank you for the suggestion. Oddly, there are only 2 versions of this printer driver for Windows (7, 10 or 11) and both versions (1.0 and 2.0) produce the same result. Like you, I am pretty confident it is a driver issue but have yet to find a compatible model/version that may work as a substitute.  It is for medical supplies and they are hard set on the multi-colour, hard copy invoices.
