Good Morning, this is not a question, per say, but I have tried to speak with customer service and I still have not been answered.
Yesterday, I was reviewing my "renewal" for Sage 50 "with support" for $903.00 per year, first I would like to explain that I am a small business owner with 4 employees, I do not rely on Sage payroll for my employee deductions or paycheques...I was curious to what Sage offers "new customer" and I was shocked to find out that they offer the software for $663.75 WOW a $239.25 discount for "NEW" customers. I decided to contact customer service to ask why, upon calling I was speaking with "Bhavya" for British Columbia. Firstly I would like to say she was very rude and had no answer for me except that I received a $30 discount back in 2017. I proceeded to ask her about Sage offering discounts for returning customers, since I have been using Sage since 2007, she simply told me that the discount is for NEW customer. I proceeded to ask to speak to a manager and she said, "you can call back" and hung up on me!!! WOW.
I called back and asked the same questions, stating that Sage 50 should offer some type of discount for "loyal" customers and I did receive 10% discount, which I am grateful for but I still not receive answer for why Sage does not offer discounts to loyal customers...no answers given. I also asked for a return call from a manager for the customer service I "DID NOT" receive from "Bhavya", no return call.
I am not sure how much money Sage needs to make but small businesses that are struggling to stay afloat in this economy should be offered more than 10%, $903 is alot of money!
