    Hi Leonard

If you get that error during backup, your data is properly too big, you can verify by going to File, Properties and verify the size.

On that screen there is your file location, you can go that location and open COMPNAYNAME.SAJ folder and see what is inside.  (if you ibdata1 file is not close to 2gb, then most likely you have duplicate file inside SAJ folder)

Common duplicates are other SAJ folders or backups (.CAB) files accidentally saved inside, you would need move them out of SAJ folder.  If you are unsure what to do, best give support a call.

    Hope this helps

I have this same issue. My ibdata1 file is 210,944KB. I don't see any duplicates and my backups are all saved in a different folder.

I have a separate Sage company from that was used from 2015-2020 and this never came up. How do I correct this issue so I can still backup?

    Hi

Are you getting warning message regarding "this company would exceed 2GB" when backup? If your ibdata1 file is only 210MB you should not get that message.  For sure there are extra or duplicate files with SAJ folder.

I would check File, properties again, see what size it is, if is over 2GB, check the folders within SAJ folder.

If File, properties show ~300 MBs then check if you are backing locally, and make sure local drive have enough space.

    Hope this helps
