Can you print a paystub without the paycheque portion on the top? without using Direct Deposit

Hi there,

I have a client who is e-transferring his employee's paycheques and when I try to print them to PDF to email the stubs to the employees, it shows the cheque portion at the top. Is there anyway to rectify this without signing up for the direct deposit subscription?

Thank you!

    Hi

Thanks for reaching out!  After accessing Setup > Report & Form Options, select your form from the left hand side and go to the "Customize Form…" button on the right for either the printer or emailed form settings (usually the same form is used for both).

The default form for payroll stubs sent by email doesn't include a cheque, please verify that the form selected is ddstub.sfm

    Hope this helps!

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi

This only works if we use direct deposit. I went to email the slips but it says I need to insert direct deposit info for the employees first.

If you're not printing actual cheques for any of your employees, you could go into the reports and forms setup, find the 'I'm actually printing a physical paycheque' form, and customize it to make it clear that the top portion is not a cheque.  Basically, make the specifications for your 'actually printed paycheque' look just like Erzsi's example above.

I had the similar problem 2 weeks ago.  I decided that I would turn on direct deposit and enter the number 1 in every spot for the banking info.  This way, I do not have to sit and alter each pdf cheque file each week to make them into non cheques and the employees get their stubs.a
