HELP! Error message, can't open Company.

I closed Sage and now when I open it I get the following error message. I didn't do anything different than I normally do. How do I fix this?

"Can not open company file .... This data has been updated to a new file format and is not compatible with this version of the software"

Any ideas? I didn't change or update anything. I just backed up as usual and closed the company. When I went to reopen this happened.

It sounds like you are using the wrong icon to start the program. Are you sure you used the correct program version icon?

Which version are you expecting to use? Which icon did you use?

You can open Notepad, then open the sai file and see which version the file is expected to be and compare that with your expectations.

I Just had the same thing happen to me. I tried to open last company that I worked on a week ago. It won't open telling me that a "required data file is missing." Can anybody help?
