Hi Betty-Ann:

I have run into this issue many times. To solve the issue close the message screen about the database reported an error, leaving Sage 50 open to choose the company file, right click on the Windows logo on the bottom left corner of your screen, choose task manager, under processes select mysql and end task, close the task manager. Wait a moment or two then try and open the company again. It should work!
