Generating a sales report that shows actual sales figures versus undercounted sales figures.

SUGGESTED

I have one customer that gets a discounted rate on the retail price of our services.  When I generate a sales report through the general ledger reporting option, the sales report shows the undercounted price instead of the actual invoiced amount.  Does anyone know how to generate a report that shows the actual invoiced amounts?   Thanks to anyone that can send me in the right direction.  John

    undiscounted sales figures, not undercounted.

    Hi  ,

Since it looks like you are using Sage 50 CanadaROI , I am going to move this post to that Support Group so that other users of this software will see it and can offer you their thoughts and insight.

Related to your question, adjusting report settings or customizing reports to differentiate between actual invoiced amounts and standard list prices might be a solution. For generating a sales report that reflects both the discounted and the standard (undiscounted) sales figures, you might consider exploring the report customization options within Sage 50 Canada.

This could involve creating a custom report or modifying an existing one to include both sets of data.

    Hope this helps!

    Warm Regards,

Thanks for the reply Erzsi_I and placing this in the appropriate forum.   I'm using Sage Cloud accounting now for a little over a year.  Below is a screen shot of what the general ledger report shows when I go into my sales account.

But when I click the invoice, it shows the proper invoice amount.  Pic below.

My problem is I'm looking to find a proper invoiced total for the previous year that shows what was actually invoiced, not the un-discounted amount.  When I generate a report through the general ledger option, the report shows the un-discounted amount which has inflated my sales by over 30%.  You can see that the invoice was actually $7627.50 and not the almost$15,000 that the report is showing.  Any help is appreciated.  Ty!
