Sage Simply Accounting account numbers question

In Sage Simply 2012, how long do account numbers in the chart of accounts have to be: a minimum of 4 or 5 digits? Also, can an account number be changed at any time?

Hi Glenn77,

For First step, and Pro, it is a maximum of 4 digits per account number.

For Premium or higher, you can use up to 8 digits per account number.

Only the accuontant edition can change the account number. If you need to change it, please follow the suggestion from the link below:
