Chart of Accounts

I need to change the account numbers on my Chart of Accounts for 2014. When I try to change the numbers thru my Chart of Accounts window, it does not allow me to change the number, only the name. I cannot find any information on doing this through the Knowledge-base. According to my accountant I should be able to do this. I have Premium Sage 50 2014 edition.

Hi!

Yes you can change the name but you can't change the number if it contains a value.

You can create new accounts ( name and numbers)
