Invoice printing problem

Bonjour! Having a problem with a ''new'' customer and printing from our personalized template. For some reason all other customers are printing for default printing settings on our personalized template. But this new customer (today) for some reason is printing on old or default template of Sage? Can someone help? Thanx!!

    Hi RessouceS1

Form template selection is computer based but not customer based.

Suggestion is to go to Setup, Reports and Forms, Invoices. Make sure the Printer Form Settings is pointing to the template you want.

You may want to change to one of the default template first, test it and then change it back to the template you want and test it again.

    Hope this helps.

Are you using Sage 50 - Canadian Edition, or some other Sage product?   In Sage 50 Canadian there is one invoice print setting for each logged in user, and it's the same for all customers.

Or, if you are using Sage 50, and your personalized template is a Crystal Reports form that uses conditional statements to custom-print different customer's invoices, then you may need to add some logic to the template.

If you're using Peachtree, Dac Easy, or some other Sage product, please post back so that the moderator can move your post to the appropriate forum.

Keith, Randy thanx for answers... i'm using ''Sage 50 Comptabilité Supérieure''...have tried setting template back to default/standard template and resetting to personalized template. Didnt work.

But what i found out by changing is that it seems to be related only to this new customer i created last week. It is the only one that this happens to. All others are ok.

    More help ?? Merci!

    Hi Ressources1,

Can you go to Setup, Reports and Forms, Invoices.  Then, post a screenshot, so we have a better understanding of how you setup your invoice template.

You can follow the link below for steps to post a screenshot.

    How to post a screenshot

    Thanks

    Hi Ressource S1,

From what I see in your screen shot, you have the followings:

    1. Printer form settings is using a local user-defined template.
    2. Email form settings is using a network user-defined template

Here are some questions for you:

    1. Your question is related to printing or emailing?  If it is printing, we will look at the Printer form settings.  If it is emailing, we will look at the email form settings.
    2. For testing purpose, if you change the printer form settings to one of the default form template, when you do print preview of the invoice, will you have the same problem that your new customer will show a different template other then the default form template?

    Thanks

    Keith,

    1. Problem is related to printing presently.

    2. Just tested with an email from same problem customer and same problem with email.

    3. But tested again with another customer with no problems with printing and email and all ok.

    4. Tested with default invoice template and all ok in the sense that either in print preview or if i print it comes out as a default version.

    Weird...loll...

    Merci Keith

    Hi Ressources1,

Can you create a new user-defined template (only minor customization like removing the company name and address) and test it in the printer-form setting.  See if you can duplicate the same problem.

For customizing form, you can follow the link below:

Does the problem show up in Print Preview?
