Third party application to support multiple location and warehouse

Hi everyone!

I would like to ask your good recommendation and suggestion if there is any third party application that is compatible to Sage quantum 2014 that can support multiple location and warehouse? I am from the Philippines and its hard for us to find reseller or partner of Sage.

Your recommendation and suggestion is very much welcome!

Thanks.

    Hi it8,

You can follow the link below for 3rd party software that works with Sage 50 - Canadian Edition.

    Hope this helps.

What do you need the third party application to do for you?

    Point-of-sale?  Service Management?   Dispatch?

    Hi,

Repeating your question in the same words is not going to convey the new information that might help me, to help you.  Unlike Keith, I don't work for Sage.

Do you mean, for instance, you want an application to add on to a cheaper Edition of Sage 50, so that you can have multiple location/warehousing?

Or, you have a need for more complex item and shipment tracking than what Sage 50 Quantum is capable of, out of the box?  (i.e. specific bin locations, bar coding, printed warehouse transfers, logging of transfers, adding shipping for landed cost, Reports on needed transfers, automatic purchase order creation,...)

Or, you want to convert your data to some other application from Sage 50 Quantum 2014 (Canadian)?

Sage 50 Canadian has a small market share, compared with Sage 50 US (formerly Peachtree), and that is smaller than the market share of QuickBooks.  The availability of third-party applications such as WASP (barcode scanners, primarily) is in the opposite proportion of market share.

    Hi RandyW,

Right now, sage quantum does not support multiple warehousing for inventory. As far as I know, but correct me if i am wrong with this statement. We are in distribution industry and we have many warehouses with same items. That's what we need. We purchase Sage quantum.

Oh, that would explain why you didn't get much of a response in this forum, it is for the Canadian version of Sage 50, which used to be called Simply Accounting.   It's totally different software, but has curiously similar advertising and cardboard box.

The Canadian version of Sage 50 (as Simply Accounting) has had support for multiple warehouses as "Locations" for at least several years.  We use that functionality to keep track of several warehouses, as well as parts carried on service units.

Everything I read says that if you need multiple warehouses, you basically have to switch to some other product.  There is no automated conversion available that will move data between the 'Peachtree' data and the 'Simply Accounting' data.

You might have some success in the Sage 50 (US) forums.  The people who use that forum would be much more familiar with it, and could give you better direction.

Sage 50 did a strange thing a couple of years ago, they renamed 3, different products with the same name, but didn't change the products.  Then they did another unusual thing, which was to bulldoze their old customer forums, and build this shiny new one that doesn't work properly.  It would be funnier if it didn't affect me.
