I don't think that there is a way, or at least none that is documented.

Sage sells payment solutions that integrate directly with Sage 50, so I'm sure there are ways to do it. 

Sage's 'BeanStream' payment solution dumps 30 pays into the bank account G/L for a single prefund, while Telpay properly records these through a clearing account as single transactions. 

So not only does Sage have a way to do it, there is also a better way.
