Multiple Customers

Hello,

We have recently taken on a new customer with 298 locations each with separate billing addresses but some of the locations have the same name.  Is there a way to put site locations in simply so that we can put these companies in under the same company name.

You can have up to 10 shipping addresses per customer in Sage 50 Premium Accounting, and up to 100 in Sage 50 Quantum Accounting.

This would help, I have clients that have used this feature for your exact reason.

Since you need more than the 99 additional ship-to addresses that Sage has limited that Edition of the software to:

Start with the default ship-to address for the customer, and don't change the dropdown.  You can type an address into the shipping address fields and save the transaction as a 'recurring transaction'.

(this is address '0' in the database for that customer, and doesn't get overwritten with current address information when you open the recurring transaction)

Not sure why Sage decided to limit it to 99 addresses, we needed a couple hundred for one customer, to keep track of the locations where field service was being done.  So far, we haven't run into a limit for recurring transactions.  Without this work-around we would have had to go with QuickBooks to get unlimited addresses.
