Emailing and Printing Paystubs at the same time.

Hi,

I've recently setup Sage 50 Canadian Quantum Edition to send out paystubs via email.  However, accounting requires that these paystubs are emailed and printed.  How can I setup Sage 50 so that I can accomplish this using the easiest method possible?  Ideally I'd like to avoid having to change the printer settings from 'PDF Printer' to 'Physical Printer' every time they need to print to PDF and print to paper.

    Hi Jon,

    You can click the email button to do the email and then click the print button to print the direct deposit stubs before you click process.  The can be done in both single Paycheques window and Payroll Cheque run window.

    Under Setup, Reports and Forms, Direct Deposit Payroll Stub, you can setup physical printer for printer form setting.  Email form setting always create PDF file and pass it to your email software.

    There may be a way to print these in Outlook, and get the email to print with the attachment.  

    If you have access to a duplex printer you could have a record of when and how you sent it on one side of the paper, with the pay stub on the other.  

    I gave it a quick try in Outlook but couldn't figure out how to print the attachments at the same time, so it only printed the emails.
