Overprint on customer statement

When interest is added on the customer statement, that line is being overprinted with the "% daily compounded (% yr.) interest on balances overdue Interest more than 30 days" message. When I go to Reports and Forms, I don't see this as a text or field box (on first or final page). The interest line is being added automatically, and this message is automatic, and they're overtop of each other. Looks like heck and I can't figure out to get rid of it. I've tried adding/deleting columns and changing column width, but nothing.

I don't think there is much options here since that line is automatically place by system, you can only arrange the column order or width to see how it fit best.

otherwise you can disable interest calculation and manually put txt field box with interest charge amount
or try add-on instead of using default .frm forms.

    Virginia,

I think Jason is probably correct. I don't think we have any control over it. The only thing other than the column placement and width's Jason suggested would be to look at the font size as well. I suspect you may have increased the font size so normal people can read them. You may have to adjust it down again until it fits properly.

There are duplicated columns on the default form because in the 80's and 90's we used NCR with pre-printed dot-matrix forms. They usually had a perforated section to tear off and send back with the hand-written cheques. Normally that's not needed now so you can get rid of the duplicated and checkmark columns if you haven't already done that.

Ah, I've figured it out. The default form has the column "Invoice No" on the far right, and this is where the text "Interest" is automatically inserted. The really long message of "daily compounded bla bla.." is on the same line, but to the far left. I removed some of the unnecessary columns, (such as Transaction Type and Transaction No.) and no matter how I played with it, because putting the invoice on the far right is not really conventional setup, I couldn't get it to show. However, all good now. Thanks for the suggestions.
