I don't think you need to go to that much trouble to run your program in French or English.  Sage 50 Canadian is bilingual.

First while logged in as sysadmin in single-user mode (Premium or Quantum), select Setup, Settings, Company, Features and make sure the program is set up for both languages by putting a checkmark in the box.

Then if you always wish your userid(s) to open in a specific language, select Setup, Setup Users, select the username and click Modify.  Then change the Language Preference.

If you wish to switch languages during the bookkeeping session for some reason, then you can select View, Switch to (the language you are not using now).

Log back in under your own username to test.

Now that you are set up for both languages, you can set up your item codes, if you are using them (or any other description field), with French descriptions by clicking the EnFr icon beside the field.  Set up a customer for using French on their ledger, Options tab and the French description will show on the invoice when you select them and all the column headers and labels will show in French if you haven't modified them from the original settings.

Thanks so much Richard! I have just tried all that you said and it works! But only one thing left is the chart of account which is still in English. So probably I need to change it manually one by one into French. Yes?

Yes, that same EnFr button I mentioned can be found any time there is the possibility of switching French vs. English.  If your file was already set up in English only, or new accounts were set up in English only, then the French version will also be English.  The only way to switch is a one-time translation.  After that, it will be available at all times for any user on the file.  When you create new accounts, new items, new projects, etc. then if you don't add in a French description, the program will copy over the English to the French descriptions.
