I have four companies using the same general ledger accounts. I've created the first one in Sage 50. How can I copy over the GL account setup into the next three companies, which I haven't created yet?

You can go to the file that you have created, on main screen Click File, Import and Export , export records, select chart of account and export to Sage imported format, select all, it will export the Chart of Accounts (COA) to txt file format, which you can use it when you create a new file and select "I have a list ..." option and use txt file import the same list COA.

I just went thru the same thing with 4 companies. Just click Save As and rename to company #2 etc.
