Is it possible to import FX transactions in Sage 50 CA 2017.0 via the import module?
M.P.
Hello mproy,
Thanks for reaching out! See the section for "Export / Import of Files" on our blog here http://1sa.ge/fxY930pYkS5 on Sage 50 CA Common Questions for access to more resources . Note that financial transaction history cannot be exported/imported. I believe this for audit compliance. Learn about the Audit Trail in this blog.
Sage 50 allows you to import / export lists of client, vendor, project, stock, chart of accounts and price list information. Generally, Sage 50 will export a text file separated by commas. To have this viewable and separated by cells in MS Excel, open Excel from the main icon, then go to File > Open and browse for the text file. You'll then get a prompt to select Comma delimited, see KB 15158 here for more instructions: http://1sa.ge/R9Sa30pYkPg
Hope this helps!
Erzsi
I don't see how importing a FX rate is different than any other transaction... which you allow to import.
