If you are on a support plan and Sage downloads the program automatically, this is the location where Sage stores downloads for all updates for the Sage 50 Canadian program.

I have a support plan and It may have been there at some point as it was downloaded and installed. My problem is it is no longer there and I am looking to get the download again. Problem is all the Sage 50 downloads I have tried for 2020.0 defaults to 2020.1 I would like to have have a copy of the 2020.0 download for reinstall purposes. If someone has a copy I would appreciate getting it.

It’s important to note that our Sage 50—Canadian Edition Obsolescence Policy, our teams are only working and assisting with the 2023 version.

Thank you so much. Can you tell when when this update was issued. I am wondering why I couldn't locate it on the sage download portal. Was I correct in stating that the download for  for 2020.0 was defaulting to 2020.1?

Yes, the KB article numbers for the Full version download tends to stay the name with just the download link updated to the latest version. This is meant to reduce the amount of folks installing old versions.

Note that update installs have a smaller file size. In the case below, the 2020.1 update install is only meant to be used to upgrade a 2020.0 version install of the full software.

You should be able to find the installation programs on your old computer in the folder

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download

You will be looking for:

SA_20200CP1.exe for the full install initial release

SA_20203CPUP1.exe the latest update for the 2020 version
