Is this new client's file already in Sage 50 desktop or is it in Sage Accounting cloud? If it is in Sage 50 desktop then you could purchase the Sage 50 c (cloud) version and upload the file to the cloud using Sage Drive. The only issue is only one concurrent user can have access and enter transactions while another could only have read-only access. If the client's data is on Sage 50 desktop it could be converted to Sage Accounting (cloud) and any number of users could access the data at the same time. If the data is already in Sage Accounting (cloud) then all you need to do is invite them to share the file with you. Of course, you would have to have your own copy of Sage Accounting Accountant Edition (cloud).

Sage 50cloud is still the same classic desktop installation with no limit on company databases. If you are looking to upload data to the cloud so that you can work with and share a file remotely, as Agate mentioned, you would use Sage Drive. This allows you to upload more than 1 company database. Here's a couple of resources:
