Thanks for reaching out. Sage 50 is designed to be installed onto a Microsoft Windows operating system based computer. This is what the installer is coded to. I believe Chrome Books use Google's proprietary operating system. Not sure if there's virtual machine softare for their system which is similar to something like Parallels which allows you to install Windows based applications onto a MAC for instance.

If you're looking for a fully cloud-based software option for small businesses, consider Sage Business Cloud Accounting (it's equivalent to Sage 50 CA Pro edition). Note that it's important to have a good Internet connection for this option.
