SICK OF TRIAL VERSION!!!

I've been using Sage 50 since 2018. Last month I purchased a new laptop and been trying to transfer my data to it. I copied everything to a travel drive and now when I try to use it, a message tells me that I have to register online. I bought it directly from Sage so I am automatically registered. 

Because I was so frustrated, I began using a Trial version and when I try to upgrade my plan, the system won't allow me to do it because they say I'm not registered! I AM FREAKING REGISTERED! Then when I try to sign up for the portal, they tell me that my address is invalid. I use the identical address, serial number and activation key as is on my registration. It's as though I don't exist in their system. 

My original version was purchased in 2018 so now I am wondering if because I downloaded a 2021 version (as was told to do by a telephone support worker), if I am now unable to use my subscription? I can open my file, but my data isn't saving because it seems that I'm only using a Trial version. 

I am so confused that I don't even know how to write my concern. Someone please help me!!

    Can you please send me your customer ID number? I would like to look at your account. If you are attempting to register with the serial number provided when you purchased the 2018 version it could be the incorrect serial number, as that number changes with each new version.
