2021.1 product update

I have sage installed on 2 computers as we use the files in multiuser mode. My colleague updated the data files but now I can not access them without updating as well. I have downloaded the update but it will not update. I get the following error. Do I need to uninstall the software and reinstall it for it to work?

    Thanks for reaching out, here are some links to the KB downloads for Sage 50 CA version 2021. The automatic download will only prompt for the first computer as in the case for your colleague*, you'll have to manually access the install from a download or copy of the install file available on your colleague's machine's C/Sage folder.

    Download:

     Version 2021

    106922 (FULL  product download)

    108351 (2021.1 Update only*)

    Any progress about 2021.1.1 update. It supposed to be available yesterday but still no notification shown when shut down the software. Clients are asking T4s for their employees

    Thanks for your question. Looks like you are a SAN member for Sage 50 CA.

    Communications regarding the update are being pushed out via the software primarily as of yesterday (01/21/2021) only for Sage Accountants Network (SAN) members.

    For the manual download, go to help and check for updates. You will find the installer file download to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download, where you can double click the SA_202111CPUP1.exe file to start the installation.

    The KBs with the new download links will be updated and published early next week. Let us know if you need anything further.

    I just tried today Jan 26 at 10:30 toronto time and when i checekd for updates in the help menue it says I am up to date. I only have version 2021.1

    Can you tell me when this will be available as I have been waiting for this to do our t4's

    Why are you waiting?  Erzi posted the links to the 2021 downloads above so you can get them without waiting for the program to get them for you.  I know it says 2021.1 but if you click on the links you will see it now includes 2021.1.1.  Pick the one that is most suitable to you full product or PUP.
