Data Repair

I am looking for a reputable support person to repair 2 databases from Sage 50 2023.

Since Sage themselves have no clue how to support their own product I have no choice but to seek other avenues.

Any other repair utilities that anyone knows of would greatly appreciated.

    Hi

Thank you for reaching out. Very sorry to hear about your experience with our support team.

Hopefully you were made aware that we offer Sage Expert Data Services, details on this can be found here. We have this article as well, with some resolution steps to try before data repair services. Were you getting a particular error message? It might be searchable on our Sage Knowledgebase here.

Would be glad to look into your experience further. If you'd like for us to do so, please email me your account ID and best number to contact you at.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi

Hi Ezrsi. The link you provided for the Expert Data Services Team brings you to a expert services page, but data repair isn't one of the appointment options. You can only book appointments for "Customization Services", "Installation Services", and "Year-End Services". At the bottom, there are 3 ways to contact. The first one is a phone number that when you call, you get the message that it is no longer monitored and to email. The email they give is different from the one at the bottom of the page you linked above. I am trying it today to see if I get a response.

My ultimate point, is that it's difficult to find help and understanding people at Sage, and when someone from Sage provides a bunch of info that doesn't help it further kills confidence in the product (of which I have none left). I am presumably in a similar situation to Kenneth and I've already spent 15-20 hours on the phone and doing work to prove my issues of incorrect data, but it's hard to get Sage on board that there's a problem with the software and to make progress towards a resolution. I am writing this on the off chance that you're someone who truly cares about Sage and doesn't just give a run-around. But I'm pretty close to the conclusion that the baseline software is not viable and should never have been brought to market in the first place and now have to look for new software this year.

    Hi

Apologies had another look and found that I should have linked this article on Sage Expert Services for Sage 50—CA Edition that's more data repair specific.

It reads " Sage Expert Services gives you scheduled access to an expert for assistance with more complex topics such as":

Sage Expert Services for Sage 50 CA Resources:

    1. Email us at [email protected]
    2. Connect with a Sage 50 expert via online scheduler - Click Here

Believe I found your account ending 400xxxxx94 and see that a callback was requested from a level 2 support analyst today. If you are still looking for guidance, please let us know and we can try to point you in the right direction or suggest some resources or next steps.

    Warm Regards,
