Thanks for reaching out with these questions. If you have a Sage 50 Canada 2023 Pro edition and are looking to install the same version year of the Sage 50 Canadian Student Version 2023 software, then you'll run into an error message when both are installed on the same machine.

You'll want to have separate installs perhaps using separate machines or virtual machine software (VMs). The student software is designed to open data formatted for it (a Premium version) and so will not allow the upgrade and opening of Pro edition data that's not formatted for the student version.

I may have a laptop that I could use. I will see if I can load it on there.

Now I will have to see if I can transfer or upload the data and guide files to it.
