Subscription Renewal

We are about to renew our subscription. The price has increased $200 year-to-year. This is crazy. I received an e-mail someone will contact me regarding my renewal, I send a follow up e-mail and never heard from anyone. I called and I have a feeling the person who I spoke to is not able to recommend a product right for us. We are using half of the features what we pay for... Still we cannot use more basic version as we will loose our data. We have been using Sage for years... I can't believe a $1000 fee is the only option for business like ours.

    Thank you for reaching out, apologies for this experience. I've found your account details and have forwarded your request onto the Sage 50 CA sales management team and have asked them to review and follow up with you.

    Please note that it's not possible to directly downgrade a data file from Premium edition to (our lowest edition) Pro (a 1 user license). The database structure is different. Though recreating the data file can be done, it's best done at year-end where you'd re-create the database using a lower edition of Sage 50 (keep in mind that transaction history cannot be exported/imported).

    It sounds like you are using Sage 50 Premium. A less expensive option would be Sage 50 Pro as suggested by Erzsi. However, if you have not been using any of the Premium features which are not available sin the Pro version then there is another possible option. GwG (Greg) [email protected] has helped others downgrade. Yes, there is a cost but with Greg's experience there might be a possibility here. It is worth a conversation with Greg.
