SAGE 2023.2 Upgrade Problem - Installation path name

I am having a problem trying to upgrade Sage 50 CDN. I already have Sage 50 CDN Install. With this latest update 2023.2 when the upgrade runs it attempts to locate the install directory as "C:/Program Files (x86)/Sage 50" but Sage

50 installations install the full path name of the product, ie "C \Program Files (x86)\Sage 50 Edition Experts Version 2023\Sage50Accounting.exe". The install path has never been "Sage 50" only.

I opened a ticket with Tech support and was told to use the option to Verify for Updates under Help for the upgrade to keep the same path. It does not work.

If I deinstall and reinstall the full package of Sage 50 CDN 2023, will I need to reset custom parameters such as backup, reports and forms on each database?

If anyone has experienced this annoying problem, please HELP!

When you uninstall Sage 50 it does not affect the dataset(s) that use the program. You will have to be careful if you have any customized forms that are in the Forms folder using the same path as shown as the first path below. This folder is wiped out and reinstalled each time a new version of the program is installed.

I am using the Accountant Edition and just checked the path for the program.

    C: > Program Files (x86) > Sage 50 Accountant Edition Version 2023

    The installer files are in

    C: > Sage > Sage 50 Accounting Installer Files - CDN Release 2023.0

These are the two most common paths that Sage is looking for when installing.

    Hope this helps
