How do I upgrade Simply Accounting 2012 to a newer version?

It will not open my prior year data as it is.

My accountant can no longer read my files and I need a newer version.

I am near retirement so do not wish to invest in the latest software.

If they have the 2012 version of the program and more current versions, then it is likely they cannot run the 2012 version due to a bug introduced in the Connection Manager back in 2019.

However, if they have the 2015 version installed they can upgrade your file to 2015 and then to the current version.

If they don't have the 2015 version, contact me off forum under the email in my profile and I will help you out.
