I have not seen any communication about a perpetual license from Sage for 2024. Sage stopped selling perpetual licenses a couple of years ago. Sage 50 CDN is only available by subscription that must be renewed annually. Even the retail sales are restricted to one year subscription.

I was told a year or two ago that perpetual licenses were a thing of the past. However, my client just received this email. What's up?

I called - they explained that certain customers who were already on Sage 50 before Oct 2022 were able to purchase an upgrade before that chance is gone. Sort of a "last call" for older existing clients to upgrade their perpetual license one last time.
