Back in the day many people did not use a password - try sysadmin and blank (nothing, no spaces, totally blank).

Hi Alwyn, I did try that but it still says invalid and I'm not even getting any username field, it is just asking for a "system password"

I have no idea what is causing this error. However, the database in 2007 may have been different to the database in 2015 and without the conversion program the implementation of 2015 may not work. Sage no longer supports either of these program version. If you were to try to install 2024, Sage may help with the conversion.

yeah I have been trying to contact them but they won't support without any ongoing license purchasing. We don't really need to use Sage 50, its just that we want to see some data from these old Simply Accounting data files. So I installed the 2015.3 trail version just to convert the simply accounting files to sage 50 and thats when I'm getting this. 

Do you think I 'm not the right track here? or is there any other way we can see the Sales data from those old files
