Knowing what you are trying to install would help us help you.

For example, are you trying to install version 2024.1 but only have 2023 installed or do you have 2024.1 installed?

This folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download has the downloaded installation programs if you have Sage 50 already installed and are using it when the next release becomes available.

In that folder you may see any of these programs.

1) SA_20240CP1.exe

2) SA_20241CPUP1.exe

3) SA_20241CP1.exe

If you are running 2024.0 already install #2 to be updated with the payroll tables for 2024.

If you are running 2023.x and you see #1 in the folder but not #3, then install first #1, then #2.

If you are running 2023.x and you see #3 in the folder and have not yet installed 2024.0, then install #3.
