install backup

i've used simply accounting 2008 for years but the system i had seemed to wprk fine except when installing a backup and starting the file.  i thought it was the age of the system.  i bought a new Sage 50 in 2018 thinking i could transfer the files there and they would work fine and it did help until covid 19 and the business closed.  Now i want to run the program to bring the accounting up to date for revenue Canada.  but when i went to operate the computer the boot hard drive it crashed and would not operate.  i was able to get back up files off the hard drive.  i purchased Sage 50 pro, installed it but when i go to install the backup it comes back with an error stating "this company has been converted Sage 50 Quantum Accounting.  You can no longer open itn in this version of Sage 50".  I have no idea what Sage 50 Quantum is.  any suggestions?

You can no longer open it with this version of Sage 50," typically occurs because of a Company File Version Mismatch: The company file you're trying to open is from a higher version of Sage 50 than what is currently installed on your computer.

    Important to Note: Unfortunately, it's not possible to directly convert data formatted for Sage 50 Quantum to be used with the Sage 50 Pro edition. This is because of the different functionalities and features supported by each version.

    Suggested Resolution: Given this limitation, a practical solution would be to collaborate with a consultant or an accounting partner who has access to the Accountants Edition of Sage 50 Canada. They have the tools and expertise needed to help export the key data and reports you require, especially those needed by the CRA.
