Conversion upgrade

SUGGESTED

I converted data from sage 2007 to 2015 to 2018. I can’t see transactions because I keep getting the message that the date must be between 2001 and Jan 1 2004. That’s what I put in but still get the same message.

    Hi  ,

Thanks for reaching out. From what you've described, it seems like you're encountering an issue with date ranges after converting your Sage data. This can be a bit tricky, especially across multiple versions.

The error message you’re seeing typically indicates that the transaction dates are not within the current fiscal year set in your Sage 50 software. To resolve this, you can verify and adjust the dates of the transactions to make sure they fall within the current fiscal year. If they belong to the next fiscal year, you'll need to start a new year in Sage 50.

Since you've mentioned upgrading from Sage 2007 to 2015 and then to 2018, it's also important to note that specific upgrade paths must be followed for data conversion. Files from earlier versions may require an upgrade to a compatible version of Sage 50 before they can be properly opened and processed.

For detailed guidance, please refer to the following knowledgebase articles:

These resources should help guide you through the process and provide the steps to ensure your data is properly configured for your current version of Sage 50; but if not, our Sage Expert Data Services for Sage 50—CA Edition is also available.

If this helps, please mark it as verified :)

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi
