I am wanting to buy the Accountants version but am waiting for sales department to open to purchase so in the meantime I downloaded the free trial to start on my clients file (they use Sage Accounting Pro 2013) and I have both an accountants copy and a backup copy but neither one of them will open in sage accountants edition , is it because it's a free trial ? I thought accountants edition was supposed to be able to open every version which is the reason I thought I wanted it but now i'm worried? It's giving me the message "the data has been upgraded to new file formal and is now not capatible with the outdated version I have" or something like that but how is that possible if I have the accountants edition and the free trial of the newest edition? Confused .. i'm concerned I will not be able to work on my clients file if I go ahead and buy the accountants version... Hoping someone can help! thanks
