Updates

I purchased Sage 50 Pro Accounting 2013 yesterday and installed it.  There were 3 update releases.  The first two I had no problem with, but the 3rd release will download then I'll go to open the program and it asks if I want to download release 3 update?  I did it several times, I've shut down the computer and restarted it, and still, I get the message about this update.  What am I doing wrong?

I have a similar problem.  Whenever I allow it to "download now" on startup, it eventually fails.  I followed the link above and the file in "downloads" isn't a valid executable.  I followed the next link and tried a manual download - it gets about 2/3 of the file then stalls.  I've downloaded other large files with no problems on this internet link.  (home rural microwave relay).  I'll try it tonight from my home internet.

I am working "in the country" and my rural microwave internet connection isn't great.  It took four tries, but eventually the whole 203MB (I think it was) download was successfully downloaded.  I don't know if the problem was at Sage's end or my ISP, but I would get 40% or 85% and then stall until I cancelled the download.  On attempt 4 from a browser download (plus the three attempts from within Sage 50 Pro) the download completed.

Within the link in Keith's answer is a link to the straightforward download at na.sage.com/.../2013 where you can see outright whether the download worked.  And you can keep using Sage 50 while the download attempts.

In my case, the problem was flakey downloading rather than flakey installation.  So separate the download process and click on the update EXE to do the update.
