Sage 50 Canadian Intelligence

Could anyone using Sage Intelligence for Sage 50 Canadian please comment on their experience with it?

I've found that even attempting to purchase it is confusing - a sales rep told me that we could buy one license for $139.95, then the purchaser calls back, credit card in hand and is told that since we have a 10 user Quantum license we have to buy 10 Intelligence licenses. ????

There was a link sent out last fall for Sage Intelligence courses:

http://www.sageintelligenceacademy.com/signifyhr_sage/projects2/learningstore but all the courses, including the free 'getting started' course refer specifically to 'Sage 50 US'.

There is a Sage Intelligence forum for Sage 50 that has 4 recent posts from this past March, and two from June 2014

Hi Randy.

You will only need one license if only one person is using Intelligence Reporting at a given time, regardless of number of Sage 50 user licenses.

As for the course on the Academy, if you would like an introduction to general Sage Intelligence functionality then it won't hurt to do the course, considering it's free. But understand there will be some differences (for example, certain naming conventions) to the Sage 50 CND Intelligence product.

Sorry. There must have been a failure to communicate here. All you will need is one license for intelligence reporting as long as only one person is going to be using the module at any given time.
