Moving from sage 50 2013 to Sage 50 2016.

2016 is going to be installed on a fresh Windows 10 'puter, 2013 is on an older (I believe) XP machine.  I'm hoping it's going to be as easy as exporting from 2013 then importing to 2016.  Customer is using Sage exclusively for invoicing so it's likely not a real complicated move.  Any advice appreciated!

Thanks, Rick

I think that Sage 50 2016 may not be able to convert the 2013 data on a fresh install (something about it needing some of the files from versions prior to 2015 to do the conversion????), you should install 2016 on the old system, running as trial, make sure that you select the correct version Pro/Premium then have it upgrade the database to 2016 (remember to do lots of backups, 1 before you install Sage 50 2016, then it is going want to do another one prior to the conversion, then you need to do another one after the conversion), then transfer that backup to the fully activated 2016 version running on Win 10

You need version 2015 installed on the new machine to convert the data from 2013 to 2016. You can just install the trial version of 2015. Google converting 2013 to 2016 and it should give you the path to download the 2015 version.
Chances are if the old computer is XP 2016 won't install on it
