If you have the Pro or Premium or Quantum Editions of Sage 50:

The setting is normally in Setup | Company | Features,

My Company Uses:

[ ] Orders....    

etc.

[ ]  Projects

** You will have to be in 'Single User Mode', logged in as either 'sysadmin' or another user with sufficient rights.  

(If you don't type a password when you open the company file, you are logged in as sysadmin, in single user mode)

If you're asking whether the part of the program that does Projects is missing or not installed, that can't happen.

Thanks Randy - I missed that one for 'Setup -> Company -> Features'. Rather annoying how many places one has to go into just to set up projects.
