CPP is not being deducted off just one of our employee's paycheque. All other employees are fine. All the check marks appear where they should be for deductions. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Is the employee under 18 or over 70?
And don't just look at the person, check the birth date entered. For some reason people have been known to put today's year in a birth date field making the person less than 1 year old. Therefore they are not CPP applicable but amazing workers for that age.
Thank you Richard. I confirmed his birthdate and it is correctly entered in Simply. CPP was taken off his first cheque back in January for the stat pay but then he received an ROE to go to school and now back again at work. He has received 2 cheques since returning and no CPP deducted.
He is older than 18 and younger than 70 (:

The only other thing I can think of is that you are paying him using an Income field not used by anyone else and the setup of that item has the check mark turned off. Check under Setup, Settings, Payroll, Incomes.
