How to calculate average hours worked for Holiday pay & Sick Day pay in BC

Hello,

I am struggling with setting up / tracking average hours worked in a month to determine holiday pay and sick day payment amounts.

Is there a specific report I can pull on average hours worked? I have played around with Entitlements setting but haven't found a way to determine an average day's pay.

Are you sure you are supposed to be calculating holiday PAY based on hours?

See this website. I don't do BC payroll but I just did a quick search on BC holiday pay calculator and found it.

The Employee Payroll Detail report will have the information you need, whether it is hours or dollars. Reports, Payroll, Employee, Detail and pick the columns and date range you want to see.

Thank you for the answer. I guess my question was more about tracking days worked in the past 30 days to calculate those entitlements as I now do it manually in Excel spreadsheet. I was wondering if the software has the option to calculate average day pay automatically.

Sorry, I didn't see that BC works off days worked. The only way to really track daily work is in the Timeslips module. If your company doesn't use that module, you may have to go back to timecards.
