Using Outside Time Management

Good Afternoon - we have been using ADP for our payroll needs and have not been happy with this program and are looking to switch back to Sage 50, we have employees at various job sites as well as in office & our production shop and need some kind of online timesheet where our guys log in and out to a job specific project number and the supervisors are able to approve these hours.  This will all be done on an App and we are currently researching 2 of them (Clock Shark & Veri Clock) and wondering if anyone has used these and if so how was is integrating the information back into Sage?

Thank you

Hello, it sounds like we may be managing similar businesses that have similar challenges. We also have employees at various job sites as well as office staff and we need to be about to allocate hours to specific project numbers. We were having thoughts of signing up with ADP in hopes that we could do this and streamline our payroll system. Have you found that ADP was valuable to you?

Hi Erica - we have had a lot of problems with ADP, the setup was brutal, the learning curve was as well for both the employees, supervisors and accounting staff, unfortunately we had our Payroll person leave relatively new into the program and finding a new payroll person was difficult so there was a lot of issues on our end as well.  Depending on the accounting system you use the payroll integration back into the accounting software to properly go to the various projects can be difficult and they have so many different team members that it is hard to pin down who you need to deal with.  We have been with them almost 2 years and were not going to renew with them but now most of the bugs have been worked out and we have a great payroll person who has learned to deal with most of the bugs so now we are unsure which way to go...after spending countless man hours on this the thought of trying to find a new system, research, training, working out the bugs is daunting to say the least.
