How to enter Auto Benefit at end of calendar year 2023 so it can be included on T4

First year using Sage 50 Payroll. Previously I have only ever manually added the auto benefit directly on the employee's T4. It doesn't appear I can do that with Sage. After reading a couple discussions, it looks as though I need to add Auto benefit as an income (are Tax, CPP and EI the only applicable taxes that should be checked off in BC?). I linked the new account to wages and checked off the employee it will pertain to. Since I haven't entered anything so far for the year, another post suggested creating a cheque, dated Dec. 31 and entering the full amount of the benefit on there. CPP and EI taxes have been maxed out for this employee so I am just left with the tax amount. The post suggested to subtract the net pay amount from the tax amount but I don't think I am able to do that. Can someone help me?
