Can you try to open the sample company, export the T4 and see if you can duplicate the same issue.

If you are using windows 7 or up, sample is located at

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simply Accounting\2015\Samdata

Select the folder with the same version as your sage 50.  Then, select Universl.sai to open the data

Thank you for the response, I tried what you suggest and below is the error message I receive. I went in and tried to change the company address but because it is a sample company it won't let me change it.

Validating company settings..

Street 1 in the company address is longer than 30 characters.

There are some problems in the company settings. Export cancelled. Check that you have entered all the information correctly.

For your company data file, if you export only 1 employee for testing, will you get the same error?

I did try that as well and got the same error, I did solve the problem about an hour ago by backing up the company and opening it on another computer in the office, after doing this it worked fine on the other computer, so obviously it was a computer issue with the computer I was working on. Thank you for your help.
