income tab payroll

Hello

I am having problems with the Income tab in Paycheques. I cannot type in that tab. I am using 2008 version. I have checked the employee records and Advance, Benefits, Vac. owed, vac. paid and regular is checked. When I go to paycheques and enter the employees name these do not show up. Does anyone know what could be going on?

Linked accounts for those items could be missing.

setting, link accounts, income, Principal: bank 1065, vac. owed 2170, Advances 1220...vac. earned 5410, regular 5410, overtime 1 5410, overtime 2 5410, salary 5410, commission 5410, income 3 5410 , income 4 5410, income 5 5410..is what is in for linked accounts..

That all sounds correct, is this something you are in the process of setting up, or is this something that was working, but now has stopped?

Is there an hourly rate set up?, and the employee is active?

The Incomes might not appear until you 'Tab' off of the employee name.

It is something that was working and now has stopped. There is no hourly rate the employee is active. I entered payroll at the end of May 2015. When I tab after period ending it goes to deductions, etc. it will not tab so I can enter anything into the income area/tab.

This might be more of a dumb thought but have you tried View, Restore Window to see if that fixes things?

Hi Joanne....did you get this figured out? I am having the same issue. Worked fine when I did payroll last Friday....today when I pick the employee to pay....nothing shows up in the payment area.....

Hi Joanne....I am using 2009.....still can't enter my payroll.....seem to be some other weird things going on too....

Well it is too bad when you call support, they are no help at all with older version!! I guess I will wait for an answer hopefully on this forum.

Are you logged in as Sysadmin? (if you open the file without entering a password, no other users are set up, and you have full access to everything in the company file).

Either way, you could create another user account with full accounting rights, and see whether that new account can access the screen you need.
